The Express are very proud to announce 20 year old forward Matt Michie has committed to play for the Royal Military College Hockey Program.
The Paladins play in the Ontario University Athletic Association East division in the CIS and are located in Kingston Ontario.
Express Head Coach/General Manager Barry Wolff says “We are extremely proud of Matt and seeing him getting this opportunity is awesome! It takes an exceptional character person to enroll in such a prestigious and high demanding Military College. Matt will take with him his high end work ethic and his will to succeed on and off the ice. Matt was a great person in the community and will make the Paladins a better hockey team and school.”
Michie say’s “I’m very excited to be playing hockey for the Royal Military College next season, and taking the next step in my career. Thank you to the Coquitlam Express family for helping me achieve my goals.”
Matt will be in the infantry officer program and enrolled in the arts department.
