2021 Main Camp presented by Canadian Tire to begin this Friday

COQUITLAM, BC — The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce the schedule for the 2021 main camp, presented by Canadian Tire, which begins on Friday, September 17th.

The 39-man roster is being split into two different teams, each to be named after former Express players, as the Express continue their 20th Anniversary Celebration.

The first three-days of camp begins with registration at 9:00 a.m on Friday, followed by fitness testing and a team volunteer event. Saturday morning both teams will have a practice followed by an intersquad game in the evening. All practices and games will take place at the Train Station and are open to the public. Masks are required for fans and patrons at all times, and vaccine passports are required. Intersquad games are free to attend, exhibition games tickets will be available at the door.

In what will be the Express’ first public training camp in two years, fans will get their first glimpse of many new players, including Brown University Commits Tyler Kopff and Harry Meirowitz, along with the likes of many local players including Ryan Tattle and Alek Sukuna to name just two.

Camp roster sheets and lineups will be available at the front door upon arrival.

MEDIA NOTES: General Manager Tali Campbell and Head Coach Brandon Shaw will be available to the media during main camp. Player interviews must be requested through Tali Campbell and will take place via phone or zoom.
