BRAD REID COMMITS TO RIT
Coquitlam Express forward Brad Reid has committed to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for the 2011/2012 season.
RIT Men's Hockey Head Coach Wayne Wilson was named coach of the year last year for leading his team to their first NCAA Division 1 Men?s Championship Tournament appearance and the Frozen Four national semi finals.
RIT currently has 4 BCHL graduates on their roster. Next year Reid will be joined by current BCHL players Brandon Thompson (Langley), Matt Garbowsky (Powell River Kings) and Brad McGowan (Surrey).
Brad Reid is the second player to commit to college this year, captain Garrick Perry will attend Alaska Fairbanks next season. Reid is extremely excited and looks forward to further developing his hockey skills while attending college.
