One lucky fan could be spending next summer on thewater
November16, 2010 ? Coquitlam, BC – Coquitlam Express and Breakwater Marine team up for a boat giveaway!
The Coquitlam Express Jr A Hockey Club of the BCHL have partnered with Breakwater Marine in a promotion that may see one lucky fan walk away with a boat at the end of the 2010/2011 season.
One contestant will take part in a rapid fire puck shoot during the first intermission at the final regular season home game on Sunday February 20, 2011. This person has 20 seconds to score 20 pucks in an open net from centre ice, a challenging feat that any hockey great would have to practice for.
If the shooter successfully scores all 20goals, they will leave the game a proud new owner of a 2011 Larson 710LX,courtesy of Breakwater Marine. The prize will come complete with all the fixings including bow cover, cockpit cover, bimini top and trailer, including all standard features. Value is 20,000 Canadian before taxes.
To qualify for the rapid fire puck shoot,fans must first take part in the Break, Rattle and Roll Dice contest at Express home games. During the intermission, two contestants will throw large blow up dice on the ice surface; the fan that rolls the highest number goes into the draw to shoot for the boot at the end of the season; contestant for this contest are chosen from a lucky program number.
