Community 50/50 Fundraising Opportunity

The Coquitlam Express are currently accepting applications from eligible non-profit organizations interested in running the 50/50 raffle at Coquitlam Express home games during the upcoming season.

This opportunity is designed to help community organizations raise funds while engaging with fans in a fun and exciting game-day environment.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, organizations must:

  • Be a registered non-profit or charitable organization
  • Be eligible to apply for and hold a BC Gaming Event License for 50/50 gaming
  • Be in good standing with BC Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • Provide volunteers to assist with raffle operations during the game

Preference may be given to organizations with experience operating licensed gaming events.

What Participating Groups Receive

  • A fundraising opportunity at Coquitlam Express home games
  • Exposure to fans and the local community
  • Support and coordination from Coquitlam Express staff
  • The opportunity to promote your organization during the event

Volunteer Responsibilities

Participating organizations will be responsible for:

  • Staffing volunteer sellers during the game
  • Managing raffle sales in accordance with BC Gaming regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all licensing and reporting requirements
