The Coquitlam Express are proud to announce the signing of Nathan Hillmann, captain of the 18U Coquitlam Hockey Club, to the Express for the 2026–27 season.
Hillmann, a respected leader within the Coquitlam HC program, has served as team captain at the 18U level for two seasons, where he has consistently demonstrated strong character, work ethic, and a team-first mentality. Known for his competitiveness and commitment on and off the ice, Hillmann embodies the values and standards the Coquitlam Express look for in developing players within the organization.
“Nathan has earned this opportunity through his leadership and dedication to his development,” said the Coquitlam Express President and General Manager Tali Campbell “As a captain at the 18U level, he has shown maturity beyond his years and a willingness to lead by example. His play on the ice at the 18U level and even in the handful of BCHL games he has played has proven to us he is ready to take the next step.”
Hillmann’s signing represents the continued alignment between Coquitlam HC and the Coquitlam Express, providing a clear development pathway for players within the organization. His progression reflects the program’s commitment to preparing athletes for the next level of junior hockey.
Nathan will continue his development with Coquitlam HC during the 2025–26 season before joining the Express for the 2026–27 campaign.
