Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express are thrilled to announce the signing of 2006-born Diego Buttazzoni!
“We are really excited to be able to officially sign Diego as a full-time player for next year,” said Tali Campbell, Express general manager “He proved to us during the playoffs that not only can he play in this league, he can play a top-six role in this league. He is exciting to watch, he is a guy that people want on their line and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.”
In 32 games with the Burnaby Winter Club U18 Prep team, Buttazzoni put up 19 goals and 35 helpers for second in team scoring during the 2021-22 campaign. He also joined the Express during the playoffs where he tallied three points in the seven games.
