Dear Express Nation,
Everyone in your Express organization thanks you for your unwavering support from this season, from our owners Fayaz and Salima, to our coaches, staff and players, we all say thank you.
The 2021-2022 hockey season was long, however the most gratifying journey. We began Main Camp in September and sadly it all ended on Sunday during Game 7 against the Chilliwack Chiefs.
This season was a rollercoaster ride with a few more spins and turns than expected but during every spin and turn we had our amazing fans, billets, parents, volunteers and sponsors along the way.
We battled through COVID interruptions, the BC storm that stranded us in Kamloops to some amazing moments like beating a Train Station attendance record and the Score for Cancer Hollywood-like game, a season none of us will forget.
This past season was another step in the right direction. High standards have been set, the tracks have been laid for the Coquitlam Express and we will continue to work at making sure they are met each and every day.
Thank you again for your support, your passion and your dedication. Be assured that the work for the 2022-2023 season has already begun.
