The Coquitlam Express have acquired the playing rights of 2001-forward Kahlil Fontana and 2001-forward Gabe Schovanek from the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for future considerations.
“I am familiar with both Kahlil and Gabe through their time in the BCHL, and both are added additions to our roster,” said Tali Campbell, Express general manager “With that being said Kahlil will join our roster following the weekend while Gabe is still considering his options for hockey.”
Kahlil spent last season with the Cowichan Valley Capitals tallying nine points in 17 games while Schovanek spent last season with the Surrey Eagles tallying 12 points in 18 games.
