The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce the acquisition of 2005-born forward Christian Maro from the Powell River Kings in exchange for future considerations.
Maro, who is committed to Holy Cross, has made an impressive mark in the BCHL, amassing a total of 54 points with 22 goals and 32 assists. The veteran has suited up for 80 games in his BCHL career.
“When the season concluded, our goal was to bring in a player with significant Junior experience and a dominant presence, and that player is Christian,” remarked Tali Campbell, Express President of Hockey Operations and General Manager. “His keen awareness on the ice, exceptional shot release, gritty style of play, and solid skating make him a tremendous addition to our lineup.”
