Greg Lapointe has been added to the the St. Lawrence University men’s hockey team’s roster for the spring semester of the 2020-21 season, Charles W. Appleton II Head Men’s Hockey Coach Brent Brekke announced this week.
Lapointe spent the last year and a half with the Coquitlam Express in the BCHL. Last year he scored 29 goals and added 31 assists for 60 points in 56 games for the Express.
“Greg is a talented young player with a special ability to score,” said Brekke. “He gets to scoring areas and doesn’t need much time in space to be a threat. We are excited to see the impact he will have on our program.”
St. Lawrence is scheduled to open the 2020-21 season against Quinnipiac on New Year’s Eve at Appleton Arena, with opening faceoff set for 4 p.m. While no fans will be allowed in Appleton this season, all games can be live streamed on ESPN+ domestically and on Stretch Internet internationally.
