Express announce De La Durantaye new Team Captain

Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express have announced that Noah De La Durantaye as the team’s new Captain for the upcoming season.

De La Durantaye is entering into his second season with the Express, last season he played in 41 games tallying a total of 25 points, seven goals and 18 assist while while helping lead the team as a leader.

“Noah is an outstanding young man who sets a great example for his teammates of what it takes to prepare and play at a consistently high level,” says Express head coach Dan Cioffi. “He has the respect of everybody in our dressing room and he leads every day with tremendous work ethic and character.”

“I am very honoured and humbled to have been given this opportunity. I was able to learn from some phenomenal leaders last year and they taught me a lot. I look forward to leading our group with the help of our assistants and our coaching staff. We have an awesome group of guys and despite the challenges of this year, I look forward to a successful and productive year.” commented Noah De La Durantaye.

The Express management and ownership also extend their biggest congratulations to Noah, “We are really happy with the coaching staff’s choice in a Captain this season. Noah will bring all the tools necessary to lead the club in the right direction.” said Tali Campbell, the club’s vice-president.
