The Coquitlam Express Junior Hockey Club and Coquitlam Hockey Club (Coquitlam HC) are thrilled to announce the appointment of James Bissett as the new Manager of Business and Hockey Operations. This dual role marks a significant step in the club’s continued growth and commitment to excellence both on and off the ice.

James Bissett’s journey with the Coquitlam Express began just over five months ago as an intern. During this time, he demonstrated an exceptional understanding of both the business and operational facets of the organization, quickly becoming an invaluable asset to the team. His innovative ideas and strategic vision have already made a substantial impact, paving the way for his seamless transition into this pivotal role.

Tali Campbell, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of the Coquitlam Express, expressed his confidence in Bissett’s capabilities:

“James has been a remarkable addition to our team. His passion for hockey, combined with his strong business acumen, made him the ideal candidate for this position. We are excited to see the fresh perspective and energy he will bring to both the Coquitlam Express and Coquitlam HC as we continue to build on our success.”

In his new role, Bissett will oversee the comprehensive business operations and hockey development programs for both organizations. His responsibilities will include managing day-to-day business activities, enhancing community engagement, and spearheading new initiatives to drive the clubs’ competitive edge.

As the Coquitlam Express gears up for the upcoming season, the club is confident that Bissett’s leadership will be instrumental in achieving new milestones both on the ice and in the business realm.
