Express appoint 25th Anniversary Committee to aid in upcoming milestone season

The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce the creation of a 25th Anniversary Committee ahead of its quarter-century celebratory season. This group of individuals spans the history of the franchise and will each bring a unique perspective to planning and executing the multitude of special events and commemorative moments to be held throughout 2025-2026.

“The Express have had an uncountable number of incredible people contribute to its 25 years of excellence,” said Express GM and COO Tali Campbell. “Honouring the history of this team, and the people that have helped build it, is no small task. We are extremely grateful to this group we have put together for all enthusiastically lending their expertise and passion for Express hockey. This committee will be an invaluable part of shaping the upcoming year and making it the celebration this community and Hockey Family, past and present, deserves.”

BARRY WOLFF – Wolff joined the Express as their Head Coach for the 2013-2014 season and helped lead them to a Fred Page Cup championship. He was selected to the 2014 Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame’s “Wall of Fame” as the coach of the year that same season. He went on to also serve as the team’s GM and did so through the 2017-2018 season.

RON VEIT – Veit has a long history with the Express. Currently he is the Director of Goaltending Development, appointed back in 2019. Before that he was a member of the coaching staff for the Burnaby Express when they went all the way in 2006. He established Veit Goalie Schools in 1998 and ever since has used his wealth of goalie coaching experience to work with several incredible goaltenders including Carey Price.

TALI CAMPBELL – Ever since 2020, Tali has left his mark on the Express program for the better.
