Serving the community has long been a pillar of this organization and it is with great pride the Express announce we have been named as recipients of the 2025 SHARE Society Partnership Award.
This award is given to an individual, business, and/or organization that has made a significant contribution by partnering with SHARE in program delivery in the past year. Past recipients include Mental Health Liaison Officers with the Tri-Cities, Female Ice Hockey Association, Port Moody Police Department, the Rotary Clubs of the Tri-Cities, School District 43, the Port Moody Old Timer’s Hockey Club, the Port Moody Firefighters Charitable Society, Coquitlam Centre and more.
“The Coquitlam Express are consistently seeking ways in which they can partner with the local community to uplift and support all residents,” said the SHARE Society. “The team have led toy drives for SHARE’s holiday programs for many years, included SHARE in fundraising events at your home games, and donated portions of your season ticket sales towards SHARE in support of our services. You are a consistent model of positive community service and you have embedded this culture in the Express Team’s staff and players. We are grateful for the Team’s support and the work you are doing with your players to develop them into compassionate, community minded future leaders.”
While we are grateful to receive this recognition, the true heroes are the staff and volunteers at SHARE who put in countless hours of hard work to support our community.
