Mark your calendars and begin building your teams as the Coquitlam Express are proud to announce their fifth annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on September 10th at the beautiful Westwood Plateau Golf Course.
One of the foundational values of this organization has always been to give back to the community. Across the four previous events, an incredible over $100,000 has been raised for various local initiatives.
“We’re proud to be hosting our fifth annual Charity Golf Tournament, bringing together our community for a great cause,” said Express President of Hockey Operations and GM Tali Campbell. “This event is more than just a day on the course, it’s about making a meaningful impact and giving back. Each year, the support grows, and we’re excited to see what we can accomplish together this time around. Our golf tournament is also the kickoff to our season, and this year it’s even more special as it’s our 25th anniversary!”
This year, all proceeds from the charity tournament are set to support Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and the Coquitlam Firefighters Charitable Society. The cost to enter is $750 per team, which includes 18 holes of golf, two golf carts and dinner for four. Several Express alumni, including NHL veteran Kyle Turris, are expected to be present, making for an excellent kickoff to our historic quarter-century season.
