The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce the signing of 2004-born forward Austin Montgomery-Parsons. This signing is a result of Montgomery-Parsons attending the Express All-Star Camp last weekend.
Montgomery-Parsons played for the Comox Valley Glacier Kings last season tallying eight points in 12 games. Prior to that he had 18 points in 31 games with the North Island Silvertips U16 AAA team.
“Austin is someone I am very familiar with. He played on my U16 Spring team when I was the GM in Nanaimo, I was able to follow him as he started playing with the Glacier Kings then this past spring he played for the Express U18 and attended our ID Camps.” said Tali Campbell, Express GM “He is a player who has a ton of skill and is dedicated to the game of hockey. He will be a D1 player in the coming years.”
“I choose the Express as the team to play for as the program they offer is incredible.” said Austin the newest Express “I am excited to play in front of fans at the Train Station.”
Montgomery-Parsons joins his fellow Express teammates on September 17th when Main Camp opens up.
