Location – Planet Ice Coquitlam – 2300 Rocket Way Blvd, Coquitlam, BC


Players are reminded to bring the proper paperwork for the camp.

*Players should bring running shoes and athletic wear to perform in the fitness aspect of camp


We have named each team after NHL players that were members of the Express

Team Lucic (Blue) – Milan Lucic played in 2004/05 (Edmonton Oilers)

Team Hunt (Black) – Brad Hunt played in 2005 to 2008 (Vegas Golden Knights)

Team Kerfoot (Grey) – Alex Kerfoot played in 2010 to 2013 (Colorado Avalanche)

Team Jones (Green) – David Jones played in 2001 to 2004 (Minnesota Wild)

Team Ladd (White) – Andrew Ladd played in 2002/03 (New York Islanders)

Team Turris (Gold) – Kyle Turris played in 2005 to 2007 (Nashville Predators)



It is recommended that players be at the rink 1 hr prior to scheduled ice sessions and games

Thursday May 3 – Goalie Evaluation Sessions

7:15 pm – Goalie Registration

8:30 pm to 10:30 pm – Goalie on ice training sessions

After evaluation we will select 12 goalies to continue and place 2 goalies per team for the weekend camp. Goalies will be asked to pay $175 CASH if selected to continue with camp.


Friday May 4 – Spring ID Camp begins

8:15 am – 9:00 am – REGISTRATION

9:10 am to 10:00 am – Team Turris and Kerfoot Forwards Fitness Test

9:30 am to 10:30 am – Goalie on ice session

10:00 am to 10:50 am – Team Jones and Lucic Forwards Fitness Test

10:30 am to 11:30 am – Team Hunt and Ladd Forwards on ice (3 goalies will be on ice)

11:00 am to 12:00 pm – All Defense on ice (3 goalies on ice)

11:45 am to 12:45 pm – Team Turris and Kerfoot Forwards on ice (3 goalies will be on ice)

12:15 pm to 1:15 pm – Team Jones and Lucic Forwards on ice (3 Goalies will be on ice)

12:30 pm to 1:20 pm – Team Ladd and Hunt Forwards Fitness Test

1:30 pm to 2:20 pm – All Defense and Goalies Fitness

4:00 pm – Team Jones vs. Team Ladd

5:45 pm – Team Lucic vs. Team Kerfoot

7:30 pm – Team Hunt vs. Team Turris


Saturday May 5

9:00 am – Team Kerfoot vs. Team Turris

10:45 am – Team Hunt vs. Team Jones

12:15 pm – Team Ladd vs. Team Lucic


The Seminar is Saturday at 3:30 pm at our home arena.

The seminar is open to all players and parents

Poirier Sports and Recreation Complex (633 Poirier St. Coquitlam, BC) 2nd level in room 2 and 3.



Sunday May 6

All players to meet with staff immediately following their game and then are free to go home

9:00 am – Team Ladd vs.Team Turris

11:00 am – Team Hunt vs. Team Lucic    

1:00 pm – Team Kerfoot vs. Team Jones



5 minute warm-up + 2 periods of 25 minute stop time

Respect is something we value and we will not tolerate players disrespecting each other or anyone involved with this organization.

Rules will be enforced to the equivalent format of BCHL games

Penalties will result in a penalty shot



All participants to report respective injuries and/or health & safety concerns to Camp Staff

Training staff will be on hand to assist with all player needs

*All USA players must have their own Health Insurance
