As part of the Coquitlam Express’ 25th Anniversary celebrations, the organization is proud to announce a special homecoming night on Friday, November 14, when the team welcomes back members of the 2006 RBC Cup National Championship team.
The evening will honour one of the most memorable moments in franchise history—the Express’ first national title—and provide fans the chance to reconnect with some of the players who made it possible. Among those returning are Kyle Turris, Mark Soares, Jovan Matic, and other members of the championship roster.
“This organization’s history is built on moments like the 2006 championship,” said Tali Campbell, President and General Manager of the Coquitlam Express. “We’re thrilled to have these players back in Coquitlam to celebrate their incredible achievement and to share that legacy with our current players, fans, and community.”
The night will feature pre-game recognition of the returning players, special in-game tributes, and commemorative 25th Anniversary festivities. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take part in the celebration and to be part of this milestone moment in Express history.
