The Coquitlam Express and Green Umbrella Seniors Care Announce Senior Appreciation Night & In-Game Bingo Fun.
Coquitlam, BC — September 30th 2025 — The Coquitlam Express Hockey Club is proud to host Seniors’ Appreciation Night on Friday, October 3rd, when the Express face off against the Langley Rivermen at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex.
This special night is dedicated to celebrating and thanking the seniors who have built and supported our community. Fans can expect a warm, lively atmosphere with great BCHL hockey, special recognition for local seniors, and an exciting new in-game activity: Express Bingo.
Express Bingo is a fun, action-based game played right from your seat. Instead of calling numbers, fans mark off squares when real hockey plays and arena moments happen — things like faceoff wins, penalties, goals, Kiss Cam appearances, and more. Multiple prize levels will be awarded throughout the night, including:
- First 2 Lines = PRIZE
- Two Lines — No Free Space = PRIZE
- Four Corners + Two Lines = PRIZE
- Outside Square = PRIZE
- Full Blackout = PRIZE
Prizes include: Gift cards, Express merchandise, an amazing lunch with General Manager Tali Campbell and your favorite Express player, season tickets to Express games, and special game-night surprises.
Don’t forget that we always have a 50/50 draw and Frisbee Toss during our games as well!
“We wanted to make this night extra special and interactive for our seniors and their families,” says John Heisler, Director of Business Operations. “Bingo is fun, easy to follow, and gives everyone something to cheer for on every play. It’s about community connection as much as it’s about hockey.”
Fans of all ages are invited to attend and join the celebration. Cold beer will be available, and the Kiss Cam, Smile Cam, and other in-game fan experiences will keep the energy high all night.
