The Express have handled the Eagles nicely, beating them twice on the road already this season. In their first match up on September 15th, Adam Rockwood and Joey Santucci led things offensively picking up three and two points respectively, while Gordie Defiel stopped 23 of 25 shots en route to a 5-2 victory. Defiel also highlighted the second meeting on October 6th stopping 42 of 43 shots while Ryan Rosenthal scored two goals and added an assist. The Express won that game 5-1.
Coquitlam will be expecting much of the same on Wednesday night as they try to win their fifth game in October and creep closer to the division lead. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Poirier Sports & Leisure Complex.
