Game Day! Coquitlam Express vs. Surrey Eagles (12-03-22)

Tonight the Express host the Eagles at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre.

Statistics:

The Express sit 3rd in the Coastal Conference with a 12-7-4 record.

The Eagles are 2nd in the Coastal Conference with a 16-5-0 record.

The Eagles have a 75% penalty kill on the road and the Express have a 14% power play at home.

Keys To Victory:

Despite a low power play percentage at home, the Express are rolling after scoring 2 on the power play last night against the Rivermen and will look to carry that momentum into tonight’s game.

With the absence of Ian Devlin, we saw multiple defensemen step up last game as Rubin scored, Vardy had a strong offensive play that resulted in a goal, and Gallucci was out there laying the body while also looking to drive the play. This continued group effort will prove to be a big challenge for the Eagles to overcome and have additional players to worry about on the rush.
