GAMEDAY: Express Return to Train Station Against Eagles

IT’S GAMEDAY

The Coquitlam Express return to the Train Station for their first home game of 2026 as they host the Surrey Eagles.

This will be the fifth meeting this season with the Eagles for Coquitlam. The Express have taken the 4 previous meetings this season. Coquitlam is coming off a weekend sweep in Powell River to kick off 2026. While Surrey aims to get back into the win column after dropping their two games last weekend to Cowichan and Alberni. The Express took the last meeting 5-4 in overtime, back on December 7th in Surrey. Kole Keen would tie the game with 15 seconds remaining before Cooper Wilson ended it with his 2nd overtime goal of the season.

Who’s Hot?:

After having his 6 game point streak snapped last Friday, Nate Crema responded with a highlight reel goal for the Express in Powell River. Making him now the 4th Express player this season to hit double digits in goals. Kole Keen had a 2 goal outing in Surrey’s 10-4 loss to the Bulldogs last weekend. He’s now up to 15 points in 19 games for Surrey since being traded over from Cowichan.
