The Coquitlam Express take on the Langley Rivermen for the annual Pride Night Game at the Train Station.
This will be the first of two meetings this weekend between the Express and the Rivermen. As the two teams will split a home and home series this weekend. Coquitlam has taken four out of the five meetings so far this season, with the last being a 9-3 blowout back on December 20th. Both teams are looking to get back in the win column after both dropping their last game to the Cowichan Valley Capitals. Be sure to join us for Pride Night at the Train Station and show your support! There will also be a pre game ceremony honouring the 2006 RBC Cup Champions Burnaby Express.
Who’s Hot?:
Brady Engelkes got the lone goal in Coquitlam’s 2-1 overtime loss to Cowichan. He’s now up to 5 points in 7 games since being acquired by the Express. Zachary Benayon continues to be Langley’s driving force this season. He’s currently riding a 5 game point streak with 4 out of the 5 games being multi point nights.
