Joseph Odyniec Commits to the Express for the 2023-2024 season

The Coquitlam Express have announced the commitment of 2004-born forward from the Avon Old Farms School of the USHS-Prep, Joseph Odyniec. Odyniec, 18, is also a University of Connecticut commit. 

Odyniec, standing at 6 ‘2 is a product of Washington, DC, he has put up a combined total of 49 points in 49 games played this season split between Avon Old Farms School and the Buffalo Regals 18U AAA scoring 21 goals and tallying 28 assists while playing time as a right winger. He is ranked 185th by the NHL Central Scouting for North American Skaters and is draft eligible for the 2023 NHL draft. 

“We are really excited to welcome Joseph to our program, he is someone when we got to watch him, we felt he could join the BCHL right now and make an impact, so we are even more excited to see his development over the offseason,” said Tali Campbell, the Express’ general manager “He is big, moves the puck well, and reads the game very well, all things we are looking for as we look to build a Championship program.” 

Joseph looks to make a splash in Canada with his first ever commitment up north in the BCHL for the 2023-2024 season with the Coquitlam Express.
