President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Tali Campbell has announced the hiring of Mason Chong as the clubs new Head Trainer and Assistant Equipment Manager.
Chong spent the last two seasons as Head Trainer and Head Equipment Manager of the Surrey Eagles. He is a graduate of Trinity Western University with a degree in Human Kinetics – Kinesiology.
“Mason joins Damon [Pugerude] and the rest of our support staff,” said Campbell “we wanted to add another person to support our players on the medical side of things.”
Keeping the players operating at full strength is no small task and Mason has proven his ability through multiple playoff runs with the Eagles organization.
