Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce the commitment of North Vancouver native Owen Kim.
Kim, 2004-born forward is in his second year with the U18 AAA Vancouver North West Hawks where last season he tallied 13 points in 35 games, five goals and eight assists with 60 penalty minutes.
“One of the things I really like about Owen is he plays like he’s 6 foot 2, 210 pounds every time he’s on the ice. He is not afraid to make a play and take a hit, while at the same time he isn’t afraid to lay the body either.” commented Express vice-president and general manager Tali Campbell “He is a shifty player that is exciting to watch and I know Express nation will enjoy seeing him on the ice.”
“I chose the Express because of the first class coaching and management.” said Owen Kim “I feel the development in Coquitlam will help me get to the next level.”
Kim joins a small list of players who have committed to the Express program for the 2021-2022 season.
