Saturday night marks the last Express game before the BCHL Christmas break. Long-time playoff rival, the Powell River Kings, come to town in a fitting clash between the green and red.This is the 2nd and final matchup of the regular season between these two teams. The Express took the 1st game back on Nov. 2, when they beat the Kings on home ice by a score of 3-0.
Powell River finds themselves sitting 4th in the Island Division with a record of 14-14-0-3. Canada West Alumni (WJAC) Evan Richardson and Jonah Imoo lead the way for the Kings. Richardson finds himself atop team scoring with 22 points despite only playing in 20 of the team's 31 games. Imoo has had a solid record between the pipes with a 12-8-0 record and a 2.38 G.A.A..
