At 19:24 Walker Gelbard managed to beat Manji to keep the Express lead to 2.

Third Period:

6:17 Tanner Attew cut the lead to 1, but Mirko Buttazzoni answered less than a minute later to restore the 2 goal lead.

Vardy got an empty netter with a second left in the game to cap off the victory with a 3 goal lead.

Post Game Thoughts:

The Express played a full game and showed that they can continue to push the gas and not let the team back into the game.

Manji made key saves on top of the defensive effort in order to keep said lead, and allowed the team to play with the confidence that he’d give it his all.
