PREVIEW: Express vs Clippers (Feb 26)

A Sunday afternoon matinee between the Coquitlam Express and the Nanaimo Clippers goes down at 3:00pm at the Train Station.

The Express are coming in on a four game winning streak while the Clippers lost last night to the Langley Rivermen.

Statistics:

The Clippers are 1st in the Coastal Conference with a 31-9-1-0 record.

The Express are 4th in the Coastal Conference with a 23-15-4-2 record.

Head-to-Head

The Clippers are currently 2-0 over the Express this season, winning both games at Frank Crane Arena. This will be their third of four meetings, these two both at the Train Station.

The Express and Clippers both bring in an injured lineup and this will be the Clippers third game in three days.

Keys To Victory:

Play the long game. You’d have to imagine the Clippers are going to be exhausted with this being their third game and the Express will need to use that to their advantage. If the Express can hound the Clippers for a full 60-minutes they should be able to pull away with the win.

Lineup Changes:

Ethan Rosenoff is out due to a suspension. Brady Smith will get the nod in net.
