The Coquitlam Express have acquired 2005 born goaltender Ryan Parker from Trail Smoke Eaters in exchange for future considerations.
Parker, 20, is entering his final season of junior hockey eligibility. He spent the last two seasons with the Trail Smoke Eaters. Appearing in 49 games, with a record of 28-14-4 over his BCHL career. He would share the crease in Trail last season with BCHL Goaltender of the Year Teegan Kendrick.
“We’ve made some strong additions to our roster, but one area we knew we had to lock down was our goaltending,” said Tali Campbell, President of Hockey Operations and General Manager. “Bringing in Parker, a proven two-year BCHL veteran with impressive numbers gives us exactly the stability and confidence we need in the crease. This move puts our team in a great position moving forward.”
