The Coquitlam Express along with it’s fellow teams in the British Columbia Hockey League learned Thursday, January 7th that their season has been delayed again due to the Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry extending the current order until February 5th.
“This is disappointing news without a doubt, however we remain in this fight together and respect the orders of the PHO.” said Tali Campbell, Express General Manager “We all want to get back to playing, supporting our players and getting back to running this business but all we can do right now is take it day by day.”
The BCHL has been on delay since the end of November as they continue to try and find a way forward while working within the orders of the PHO and guidance of ViaSPORT.
