2019 BCHL Schedule Announcement

The BCHL schedule has been released for the 2019/20 season! We highlight the important dates for our schedule below (click on each schedule slide to enlarge):

Your Coquitlam Express kick off the campaign on the road in Langley, with the home opener taking place on September 21st against the Chilliwack Chiefs. The next afternoon marks the first visit of the season by the defending BCHL and Doyle Cup champion Prince George Spruce Kings.
We have 3 October home games. October 20th will be our annual Pink in the Rink gameĀ . We will wear our and auction our pink jerseys for Breast Cancer initiatives!

November is our busiest month of the season, with 12 games and 7 on home ice. 3 Okanagan teams will take to the ice at the Pond on Poirier with West-Kelowna, Vernon, and Penticton all making their only trips to Coquitlam of the season.

The homestand continues into December, with some more unfamiliar foes making their way to Coquitlam. December 8th sees a rare evening game on a Sunday as the Wenatchee Wild are in town for our annual Teddy Bear Toss game. December 18 is also our first School Day game of the season! We will welcome hundreds of SD43 students to see us take on the Prince George Spruce Kings.

January sees an Okanagan road trip at the outset of the month before returning home for 4 home games to close things out. The 22nd is the second School Day game of the season.
The final month of the season sees some difficult travel during the stretch run. Trips to Wenatchee, Merritt / Penticton / Trail, and Prince George will all test the Express heading into the postseason. The final weekend home game of the year sees the Victoria Grizzlies come to Coquitlam, with the regular season home slate concluding with a division matchup against Surrey on February 19.
