Team Canada West is off to a strong start in the World Junior 'A' Challenge. The defending champions downed the Czech Republic 7-0 in their first preliminary game on Tuesday afternoon. Express forward, Alexander Kerfoot, led the way with 2 goals and 2 assists. Kerfoot is joined by Express teammates Zachary Pryzbek and Brandon Morley, as well as 12 other BCHL affiliates. Canada West's next game gets underway at 11am (PT) today, when they take on Team Russia.
