The Vancouver Canucks Alumni are set to return to the Poirier Sports & Leisure Complex on January 4th, 2014, when the Express take on the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
There will be 16 former players in attendance including “King Richard” Brodeur, David Bruce, Ernie Dougherty, Eddie Hatoum, Dennis Kearns, Orland Kurtenbach, Jack McIlhargey, Garry Monahan, Bob Murray, Chris Oddleifson, Harold Snepsts, Tony Tanti, Dennis Ververgaert, John Grisdale, Charlie Hodge & Darcy Rota.
Fans will also have the opportunity to meet several other Canucks celebrities. Personalities include Jim Robson, Mark Donnelly, John Ashbridge and Gerry “Slammer” Dean. Vancouver Canucks draft pick and current country music star, Chad Brownlee, will also be signing autographs alongside the Alumni. Kids can also look forward to a special appearance by Canucks mascot, Fin.
