Express captain Drew Cooper will be returning to his home state of Michigan to play Division 1 college hockey. Cooper has committed to Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. Former Express forward, 50 goal scorer and BCHL champion Corey Mackin spent 4 years at Ferris State, including 2 years as team captain.
The 2nd year Express blueliner and team captain has 6 goals and 13 assists in 33 games so far this season. That surpassed his goal and assist output from last season.
