The Express will have some extra firepower in their forward group with the addition of Ethan O’Rourke. His rights were acquired from the Prince George Spruce Kings along with future considerations (Tyler Schleppe) in exchange for Sam Kozlowski before last season.
The 6’5″, 1999-born forward started this season with the WHL’s Swift Current Broncos. He has also played for the Everett Silvertips and Prince George Cougars. His last BCHL season was in 2016-17, putting up 5 points in 19 games. Ethan is the son of Steve O’Rourke, a BCHL alum who played 7 years of pro hockey before coaching in the AHL and WHL.
