Express acquire 2002-born goalie Connor Mackenzie

The Coquitlam Express have acquired 2002-born goaltender Connor Mackenzie from the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL in exchange for future considerations. 

Mackenzie a native of Toronto spend the last few seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Whitby Fury and the Markham Royals. His last full season he posted a .911 save percentage in the regular season and the five games he played in the playoffs.

“Mackenzie is someone we’ve had on our radar for quite some time.” said Tali Campbell, Express general manager “Every year he has won awards for his performance, since 2011 his team has either won or competed for the Championship. We feel he will help us do that here in Coquitlam too.”
