Coquitlam Express General Manager announced late Thursday (Nov 4) evening that the team has acquired 2002-born defenseman Darren Beattie from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in exchange for future considerations.
Beattie is a native of Lambeth, Ontario and is in his second season in the BCHL spending that time with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Prior to that he was in the OJHL with the Cobourg Cougars.
“Stability and experience is something we need on the backend and Beattie is someone we feel we will get that from,’ commented Tali Campbell Express general manager “He has over three years of Junior Hockey experience, something we are going to rely on a lot.”
The Coquitlam Express are excited to welcome Darren to the team.
