It has been a short summer for the defending BCHL Fred Page Cup Champions, the Coquitlam Express, but Friday August 29 the excitement comes back to the Train Station, Poirier Sports & Leisure Complex, for the 2014 Coquitlam Express Training camp.
There will be over 100 players trying out for 22 roster spots. Coaching staff expect the competition to be fierce and intense. For the first two days the players will compete in 4 scrimmages. The first cut down is Saturday August 30.
Camp Schedule – All open to the public.
Fri. Aug 29 and Sat. Aug 30 – Scrimmages from 7:30am-4:00pm
Monday, September 1- Practice 8:00am-9:45am, Game at 4:15pm
Tues. Sept. 2 and Wed. Sept. 3 – Practice 8:00am-9:45am, Game at 2:00pm
The Express first exhibition games are September 5 in Langley and September 6 vs Langley at the Poirer Sports & Leisure Complex in the Rec Rink. Face off both nights 7:00pm. Admission in Coquitlam is $5.00.
