EXPRESS Make Player moves:
The Coquitlam Express have added 20 year old defencemen, Dustin Cave to their line up,
Dustin was last with the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the AJHL,
The 5”11 203lb defenceman, from Tappen BC, is no stranger to the BCHL having spent time with both Salmon Arm and West Kelowna,
Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff says, we needed to add a veteran presence to our line up, Dustin brings a strong work ethic, leadership and will help settle down our Defence core.
The Express have also added 18 year old defencemen Cole Bevan to the Express Defence Core. Bevan played last season with the Swift Current Broncos of the Whl, most recently this year Bevan was with the Saskatoon Blades in the Whl. Coach Wolff says "The 6’1’ 205 lb Cloverdale native is a big strong shut down defender who will bring grit and energy to our line up"
Express also added veteran goalie Chris Tai from the the Lloyminister Bobcats of the Ajhl, where Tai who was a late addition to the Bobcats from the Whl, helped them have some play off success last year. We welcome all 3 players to the Express family !!
With Players in, Players must go out, to make some room on the roster, the Express have sent defencemen Austin Bietenbeck to the Grand Praire Storm and Goalie Pierce Dushenko is now with the White Court Wolverines both in the AJHL. The Express thank both Austin and Pierce for all their efforts. They are both quality individuals and we wish both the Best of Luck !!
