Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express are proud to announce the signing of Cale Colwell, a young and talented hockey player who impressed the Express staff at the ID Camp in Abbotsford this past weekend.
Colwell is a 2006-born forward who played the last two seasons with the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds U18 team where this past season in 30 games he tallied 30 points, 19 goals and 11 assist during the regular season.
His skill and dedication on the ice will undoubtedly make him a valuable asset to the team, and his presence will undoubtedly be felt on the ice.
Express General Manager Tali Campbell expressed his excitement about the signing, saying, “We are thrilled to have Cale join our team. He is an incredibly talented player with a bright future. He reminds me a lot of Gavin Giesbrecht when we signed him just over a year ago, and I feel Cale will have immediate success in our league like Gavin has.”
Cale Colwell is equally excited to join the team, saying, “I am thrilled to be joining the Coquitlam Express and am eager to get out on the ice with my new teammates. I look forward to contributing to the team and helping us achieve our goals.”
The Coquitlam Express open Main Camp on the 2023-2024 Season on September 2nd with 35 players vying for a spot.
