The Coquitlam Express take on the Nanaimo Clippers for the first time this season, as the Express host Wrestling Night at the Train Station!
Coquitlam gets set for their first of three meeting this season with Nanaimo. The Express will look to make it 3 wins in a row after sweeping last weekends double header against the Bulldogs and Grizzlies. As the Clippers come in looking to snap a 2 game losing streak. This the Coquitlam’s last home game in November. Embarking on a 3 game road trip starting Saturday in Chilliwack, followed by a 2 game Alberta swing. Recent Express acquisition Carson Lesiuk will face off with his former team for the first time since being traded to Coquitlam on November 7th.
Who’s Hot?:
After scoring the game winner back on Saturday. Nolan Flynn looks to keep his momentum rolling for the Express. With 7 points in his late 6 games. He’s only been held off of the scoresheet in 4 of 15 games played so far this season. Samuel Boisvert has been lights out for the Clippers since returning from the QMJHL. Scoring Nanaimo’s lone goal in their 5-1 loss to the Spruce Kings this past Wednesday. He now has 12 points in 12 games since re-joining the team.
