The Coquitlam Express kick off their 3 game road swing on Vancouver Island as they travel to the Q Centre to take on the Victoria Grizzlies
Coquitlam looks to get back into the winning column after dropping their recent contest 5-4 in the shootout against the Nanaimo Clippers. They now gear up for a 3 game in 3 night road trip in the Island with their first matchup coming against the Victoria Grizzlies. Coquitlam’s taken both meetings so far this season, winning their Home Opener over the Grizzlies 4-3 back on September 20th. And the most recent meeting 1-0 on November 15th. Coquitlam will travel to the Q Centre one more time this season to wrap up the season series on March 13th.

Carson McGinley is currently riding a 6 game point streak for the Express. Starting with a 2 point performance in Powell River back on January 2nd. He added 2 goals this past weekend against Chilliwack and Nanaimo. Owen Warnick is now up to 12 points in his last 7 games. Including a 4 point night against Cowichan on January 3rd, he sits tied with Arturs Gross for the team lead in points with 31.
