Dear Coquitlam Express Hockey Club Family,
On behalf of our owners and myself, we want to say thank you. We are filled with immense gratitude as we reflect on the journey we have embarked on together this season. From the bottom of my heart, I want to extend my deepest thanks to each and every one of you who contributed to making this season one to remember.
To our players, you have poured your hearts and souls into every practice, every game, and every moment on the ice. Your dedication, passion, and determination have been nothing short of inspiring. Through the highs and lows, you have remained steadfast in your commitment to excellence. A special thank you to our 20-year old players, Adam Manji, Michael Rubin, Luke Vardy, Cole Melady, Oliver Gabrielson and Jacob Bonkowski, you were the backbone of our program.
To our coaching and support staff, your tireless efforts behind the scenes have been the driving force behind our success. Your expertise, guidance, and unwavering support have been instrumental in shaping our team. Your dedication to our players’ development both on and off the ice has not gone unnoticed, and I am truly grateful for everything you do.
To our loyal fans, your support has been the lifeblood of our team. Whether cheering from the stands or following along from afar, your passion for the game fuels our spirits and drives us to push harder, reach further, and never give up. We set some new records this year with overall attendance records, and our season ticket base, records that we will look to beat next season!
To our volunteers and billets, your selflessness and generosity have been the backbone of our organization. From providing a home away from home for our players to lending a helping hand behind the scenes, your contributions have not gone unnoticed. Your kindness, support, and dedication to our team are deeply appreciated, and we could not do what we do without you.
To our sponsors, your unwavering support and belief in our team have been the cornerstone of our success. Your generosity enables us to continue striving for excellence both on and off the ice, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued partnership. For a second season in a row we sold out of Rink Boards!
Together, we have weathered the ups, downs, and unexpected turns of this season, emerging stronger, more resilient, and more united than ever before. While the journey may have been filled with challenges, it has also been marked by countless moments of triumph, growth, and camaraderie that we will cherish for a lifetime.
As we look ahead to the future, I am filled with excitement and optimism for what lies ahead. I want to wish our graduating players the best of luck in College, and we look forward to welcoming back our returning players and our new recruits. We have unfinished business, 2024-25 season.
Once again, thank you for an incredible season. Together, we have proven that when we come together as one team, one family, there is nothing we cannot accomplish.
