General Manager Tali Campbell has announced the signing of Kazakhstani international Nikita Sitnikov.
Sitnikov, a 2005-born forward, represented Kazakhstan at the recent World Junior Championships in Ottawa, tallying a goal and an an assist. In the MHL this season he has 11 points in 27 games.
“Nikita is a shifty, fast, smart forward who brings an edge to his game that will translate well in the BCHL,” said Campbell. “He will be a fun forward for our fans to watch and someone we feel has a huge ceiling to his potential.”
He is scheduled to arrive in Coquitlam next week.
