The Coquitlam Express are proud to announce that the upcoming 2025-26 season will mark the franchise’s 25th Anniversary – a milestone that represents not only the longevity and legacy of the organization, but also the countless individuals who have shaped the team into what it is today.
From the players who wore the Express jersey with pride, to the dedicated staff, volunteers, and the passionate fans who have supported the team through every high and low, the 25th Anniversary will be a season-long celebration of everyone who has been part of this journey.
“We are incredibly honored to be reaching this milestone,” said Tali Campbell, General Manager of the Coquitlam Express. “The Express have been a cornerstone of the Coquitlam (and Burnaby) community’s and the BCHL for 25 years. This upcoming season is all about honoring our past, celebrating our present, and building our future.”
Throughout the 2025-26 season, the Express will host a number of special events, including alumni nights, commemorative jersey games, community appreciation initiatives, and more. The team will also be unveiling a 25th Anniversary logo, launching a limited-edition merchandise line, and sharing stories from the past two and a half decades on social media and at the rink.
“Whether you’ve cheered from the stands, volunteered behind the scenes, or skated on the ice, this celebration is for you,” Campbell added. “This organization has been built by the community, and we can’t wait to celebrate this incredible milestone together.”
