Coquitlam Express to Host 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting FOCUS Canada

Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express, a junior ice hockey team in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), is proud to announce their 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting FOCUS Canada. The tournament will be held on September 13, 2023, at Westwood Plateau Golf Course in Coquitlam, BC.

 

The Coquitlam Express is committed to giving back to the community and supporting local charities. This year’s tournament will benefit FOCUS Canada, a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian assistance so that families can pivot from adversity to a future of opportunity. Whether it is because a family finds themselves in poverty because of a sudden loss of work or a natural disaster leading to displacement of families, FOCUS aims to spark hope.

 

“We are excited to host our 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament and support such a great cause,” said Tali Campbell, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for the Coquitlam Express. “FOCUS Canada does incredible work in our community, and we are proud to be able to contribute to their efforts.”

 

The golf tournament will feature a shotgun start at 12:00 PM and will include a round of golf, a cart rental, and a buffet dinner. There will also be an online auction and a raffle with great prizes to be won.
