Canadians across the country took time to remember Canada's veterans in events all over our land today.
The entire Express roster were on hand at Coquitlam's Blue Mountain Park as Captain Ryan Rosenthal laid a wreath at the Cenotaph as part of the Remembrance day ceremonies.
Express Head Coach Barry Wolff says this was an important opportunity for his team to appreciate the history of our country, " It's a part of our Heritage and essential our young men to take a step back and remember the brave men and women who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today".
The Royal Canadian Legion 263 colour guard was present at the November 6 game as the Express were 4-3 winners over the Surrey Eagles
The Express are back in action on Friday, November the 15th as they take on the Langley Rivermen at the Train Station in the PSLC. The puck drops at 7pm.
