Sept. 2 – Preseason has concluded and your Express are ready to kick off the 2013/2014 regular season at the Bauer BCHL Showcase.
The Merritt Centennials are the first opponents on the docket for the new look Express. Merritt finished the preseason with a 3-1 record with two victories over Prince George and one over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. The Cents and Express split their two meetings last season. Puck drop is Friday afternoon at 4:00pm in Chilliwack.
Coquitlam's second game of the Showcase weekend is 11:00am on Sunday against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. The 'Dogs finished the preseason with a 1-3-1 record. Their only win came against the Victoria Grizzlies. Alberni Valley and Coquitlam also split their two matchups last season.
